Stopped working after 2 months and Frigidaire doesn't care

Bought brand new Frigidaire refrigerator that was delivered on 8/23/25. On 11/27/25, we started to get HIGH temp alerts. Called Frigidaire the manufacture on 11/28 to have a tech come out, they came on 12/2. Everything checked out, no parts were being faulty so they left and said to clean the coils from pet hair, that maybe that was the issue. So we did. 24 hours later, still getting High temps. Made another claim on 12/3 and another tech came on 12/11 (a week and a half later!) to see the same result, no issues on the parts but still getting high temps. Landon was the tech with Frigidaire, his resolution was to order two parts (compressor and stepper valve) in hopes that would fix the issue, even though both of those parts on the current equipment was functioning as they should. He orders the parts and says his soonest availability for a 3-4 hour install is Dec 22nd and no guarantee it won't get pushed out due to other escalations. Meanwhile, all our food has been spoiled from Thanksgiving and on. Myself, husband, and two toddlers have all gotten food poisoning and as of today we are going 16 days without a functioning refrigerator and it will be 26 days at the earliest until they can MAYBE fix the issue but no guarantee those two new parts will fix it. At which I would have to request a replacement that takes additional time and effort. Frigidaire said there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO HELP ME, not even a gift card for some fresh food to reimburse me for my troubles. SICKENING. How can nearly a month with no functioning refrigerator, no food to feed a family, and sick toddlers be ACCEPTABLE?

We have only had issues with this machine and Frigidaire support of the problem has been overall lacking. Our fridge we received had random beeping noise (no error message), since plugging in, but then when we loaded up the fridge the beep went away. AKA it had more thermal-mass to be stable. They had a tech look at it and said nothing is wrong, but why would a fridge beep when less then 25% full. Afterword's we get High Temperature warning all the time. The only way to fix this is to turn off the fridge for 5 minutes and hard reset. Frigidaire is taking forever too resolve this and luckily found after having this issue over 10 times, is if I put a smart outlet on the fridge and turn it off 5 minutes each day, the issue will go away.

I love this refrigerator! It is huge and has a ton of space for any size storage container or stock pot with lid. The crispers seriously keep produce & fruit fresh for much longer than my old refrigerator. I buy organic, which by nature, doesn't last as long, but with these seal tight crispers they have lasted 4 to 5 days longer. No more waste! I love the snack drawer for drinks, cheese, olives or any snack items. The freezer is really big too. The water dispenser on the inside of the door is awesome, but takes a little bit to get used to. I like the no smudge fingerprint material, just a wipe & they're gone. There are exterior lights on the drawers which I really like too. It's overall a very nice refrigerator especially for the price compared to others. I will definitely purchase again.

We are very happy with our new fridge. It's comparable in dimensions to our old fridge, but with much more cubic space - it almost looks empty still even after our grocery store trips! We picked this one because we didn't want the water and ice dispenser on the front, and the middle drawer is perfect for drinks (and they no longer take up space in the fridge). We flipped one of the fridge drawers for meats and cheeses, and I love the extra wide right door to keep our condiments in one place. There really isn't a feature I'm not happy with, or that I feel is missing.

I have had this fridge for exactly 1 year and 3 months and the following has happened: The freezer stopped working, had to hire a tech to come out. ($200 later) The water dispenser is leaking and the control board is currently broken. I have a tech coming out tomorrow to fix both. (can't wait to see what the price tag is for that) I have error codes showing up, the flex drawer lights are blinking and the lights are not turning on in the freezer and fridge. This appliance is garbage and completely disappointed. This thing needs to come with a better warranty. One year is not enough.

Excellent for a growing family

I'm extremely pleased with this refrigerator. It runs quietly, is very well lit for finding a late night snack, and offers plenty of space for a growing family. We are easily able to fit our normal groceries and leftovers from larger family gatherings. The snack drawers are also a great idea and perfectly located for toddlers to grab a snack when they're hungry.

I rate this refrigerator as pretty good, it™€™s spacious and like that you don™€™t have to open both doors to get into the vegetable drawers on each side. Also the shelves even though they separate to adjust for rearranging there is NO way to lower them any other way than what it came with.Very disappointed that it only has a one year warranty! I realize that I can purchase an additional warranty but why should the consumer have to pay for your workmanship? Shouldn™€™t you stand behind it?

Spent months researching on what to buy. Requirements: 1) DUMB, 2) flexible, sturdy shelving, 3) if it has 4th drawer, needs able to be fridge or freezer, 4) if has dispenser, take up minimal space. We had occult dishwasher leak ruin kitchen floor and cabinets leading to a major demolition... so our fridge now is not even hooked up to a water line! Not interested in worrying about leaks, thank you. We had ice maker and bins removed in the freezer and opened up more room. Everything is accessible and visible. Use of space is excellent. The dispenser it has, does not take up space. Although it is 27 cu. ft., I think space wise competes with a 29 or 31 cu. ft. fridge. We really fit a ton of stuff in 4th drawer, and the hidden snack storage. Dual evaporator is working well. So in summary, far exceeds our expectations!

I had the misfortune of purchasing a Frigidaire gallery four door fridge on 11/16/24. And that™€™s saying a lot, coming from the prior owner of the refrigerator that resulted in a class action lawsuit against Samsung. In June, the freezer stopped producing ice. I called and a repair company was scheduled to come out. They came, spent 30 seconds, didnt look at or touch anything, said they needed to order a part. Week goes by, part comes in, they lied about the time they were coming, but did install the part and said it would be working within 24 hours. Now it leaks water all over my floor. I had to turn the water off. I wrote an honest review as well as called them to come back and fix their error. They refused to come back because I left an HONEST review and said they will not be servicing my appliance any longer. Called Frigidaire back, got another company scheduled for a week later between 2-5. At 4:48 THE DAY OF, they call to cancel and said they cant come back out for four days. With no ice and no water. On a brand new fridge. Called Frigidaire again, now a third company is involved. They™€™ve come to my home three times, with another appointment tomorrow. They™€™ve replaced the ice maker twice already. I will NEVER buy another Frigidaire appliance. Ive taken three days off work and I have a fridge in worse condition than it was before I called! Still don™€™t have a functioning ice maker. Filed a BBB complaint, they still don™€™t care and refuse to refund my money. NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX!!!!!!!

Broken freezer

While it has a goods amount of space we have had multiple issues with it. One of which is conveniently just outside of warranty and it™€™s been impossible to get it resolved. We are going into the 4th week of not being able to use our freezer. For an appliance that is so expensive I would expect it to work for well over a year before things start breaking.

Worst Refrigerator ever owned

Purchased July 2023. Have had to have service out 3 times. First, the installers did not take tape off back of ice dispenser so didn™€™t work. 2nd last December the meat drawer quit. Board went out. 3rd on 9/27 whole unit quit cooling. Lost everything after just shopping. Waited for service tech to arrive from Sat. To Thurs. Inverter board out. Part ordered. Now can™€™t repair until 10/13. No back up. Can™€™t depend on this brand. And have no money for another! Repair Service and store don™€™t care. Only $200 replacement for lost items from extended warranty. That™€™s nothing with today™€™s prices. Had just gone shopping day before it quit. Senior citizens on fixed income and have had to buy takeout for two weeks. Frigidaire should replace totally or refund my money.

The frig is perfect. No upper ice dispenser which is great as they never work. The middle drawer is great. Plenty of room in the upper frig. Only down size is the left side of the freezer upper pull out which has no front, unlike the ice tray on the right.

Our kitchen is greatly enhanced with our new Fridgidaire Gallery 27 cu. ft. refrigerator! We are loving each feature of this model from the looks to functionality. The middle Custom Flex Temp drawer affords extra space to eliminate clutter in the main French door compartment and the contours throughout keep air efficiently circulating! The ice maker was slow to get started, but once a good amount is accumulated it maintains plenty of ice. We also love the water in the inside of left door with ease of button to fill containers. So far, this is the best refrigerator we have ever owned in 43 years!

This is our 2nd Frigidaire product since our last purchase which was also a Galaxy model in 2010. It still upsets me to have to purchase a $500 5 year warranty plant to get them to last this long. The ice maker is much improved so far over the. 2010 model. And improved lighting inside refrigerator

I like it and how much room there is. Well lit inside and out, if you want the outer light. I do wish you could just turn on the outside freezer light, but you have to have both or none and both is a bit much at night. Also like when stainless is magnetic, as this one is.

Good Compromise

We are happy with this refrigerator. It has a good amount of useful storage. Based on all our research we learned the worst thing for a refrigerator is a ice maker in the door and this one fits that requirement plus has lots of other nice features. The water in the side of the left door takes some getting used to but our family has adapted to it. Frigidaire seems to be a good brand and we hope it last many years...Only real con so far is the only ice maker in the freezer is slow it says 2-2.5lbs/day but doesn't really seem to make that much. It is catching up with our daily use so doesn't seem to be an issue.

French Door Frigidaire is Fabulous

I looked at over 30 different fridges, before I selected this beauty. I was not able to see the standard depth model in person, but did see the counter depth. I read several reviews and looked very closely at this model before purchasing. Once delivered I was more than impressed. The icemaker works beautifully and creates lots of ice. The interior is very roomy and the door shelves are designed to hold many things and sizes. The only addition to this beautiful applicance I would add is a built in slim horizontal freezer shelf for the bottom freezer to store small objects or food items. My old Samsung had this feature. Other than that--my family and I are super happy with our fridge. The interior water dispenser keeps the outside of the fridge clean and dry. The water is pretty good tasting using the recommended Filter for this model.

As of right now, we've had the fridge for a couple of weeks and it's been great! The ice maker takes time, but we love the size and that it actually works. We use the extra drawer for drinks which is so nice since we enjoy our juices, bottled water, and cans without taking from the fridge space.

Handles the "warehouse" store shopping trip!

I an so happy with this fridge. I waited over 10 year to get the fridge of my dreams (budget) and glad I made the Frigidaire Gallery my choice. We filed it with groceries from both the regular and warehouse store and still had room. The best thing is no matter how full it is, we can see everything. The customizable door storage bins make organizing easy, especially for those things you never knew what to do with. And, the larger crisper drawer actually fits all our fruits and veggies, so I use the smaller one for deli type things. The ice maker seems a bit slow at making ice, but eventually fills ups. Still may get it checked out to be safe. Now, time to start saving for a garage ready upright freezer.

I love the organization of this fridge! The adoptability of the side compartments in the door. The fact that I don™€™t have water spilling over the outside of the fridge like standard refrigerators. Having the water inside is a great feature when you have hard water I also love that the center drawer can be adopted to any temperature to make sure that I have the space I need when I need it.. it took a little longer to get this fridge, but I™€™m so glad I waited.

Love this fridge soooooo much! Lots of room in the fridge and it is well lit, everything is in perfect places for optimal storage and visibility as well as easy accessibility. The middle drawer is great for drinks and we currently store close to 100 cans in it. The freezer is well laid out for easy storage and access to everything at once. The ice maker in the freezer is awesome as well. I have zero complaints! Oh and it™€™s SO quiet!
